OPEN WIDE WHAT'S INSIDE?

'Open Wide What's Inside?' was written by dentist, Alex Rushworth, and was illustrated by Ibex Illustrations.  The book, which was first published in 2012, is a humerous, rhyming story about the Sugarbugs that live in your mouth and their revolting habits. The book aims to use humour to teach children about what is happening in their mouths when they eat and to encourage them to take good care of their teeth.

Over the years, Open Wide has partnered with schools, dentists, libraries, and organisations like the NHS, Hoops4Health and Bright Northumbria to take the message to children across the UK and even round the world.

We hope that it brings you a great big smile.
